Privacy & your information

Clear about
what is kept.

This notice explains the practices implemented in the tramm.online project: the public portfolio, consultation form and private family archive. Trecargi Tramm in Curaçao is the contact for questions and requests.

This information is currently available in English.

Visiting the public website

You can read the professional portfolio and public historical exhibition without creating an account. This project does not currently add advertising pixels or a third-party visitor analytics tool.

Hosting and network providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, timestamps and error logs, to deliver and protect the website. Their platform practices are governed by their own policies. This notice does not establish that those providers keep no logs.

Project examples can contain sample balances, fictional content or prototype results; the relevant project descriptions explain their status. Imagined historical illustrations are labelled separately from archival records.

Anonymous portfolio measurement

The professional portfolio records daily aggregate counts of page views, email and WhatsApp link clicks, consultation links and successfully saved consultation requests. The records contain only a day, a known public portfolio path, an event type and a broad source category such as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, another AI service, another website or no identifiable referrer.

The measurement does not store visitor identifiers, cookies, IP addresses, full referring URLs, search queries or the contents of the consultation form. It does not identify unique visitors or prove that a contact click became a conversation. A source category describes the referrer available for that page; it is not a history of a person’s visits.

Client-side measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, excludes hidden-page views and does not run in the private family archive. Successful requests are counted on the server without copying their personal details into measurement records. Aggregate rows older than 90 days are removed when new measurement is processed; there is no background deletion job. The database is available only to the website operator through authorized tools.

Consultation requests

The form asks for your name, email address, a short description of your idea, a preferred date and time, and your timezone. It also stores a request reference, duplicate-submission identifier, status and submission time.

These details are stored for Trecargi to review and arrange the conversation. Reviewing requests requires Trecargi’s administrator access. Submitting the form does not reserve the time, send an automatic confirmation email or calendar invitation, or subscribe you to marketing. Trecargi reviews requests in a private inbox and replies separately.

The form does not need a family account. It stores the request for review rather than automatically sending it to an AI chat provider. Please leave sensitive personal information and confidential business records out of the initial description.

Anti-abuse controls keep attempt counts and hashed identifiers derived from request or email information. They help limit repeated submissions and sign-in attempts.

The private family archive

Family members sign in with a private password after an invitation or approval by Trecargi. Access to member records and uploaded photographs is checked by the server; a search-engine instruction is not used as the access control.

The archive stores account and access information, recorded family relationships, birthdays, profile details, photographs, captions, stories, tags and relevant activity records. Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords. Member access is limited to the family view available to that account, and administration requires separate authorization.

Members can edit their own profile and remove photographs they uploaded. The administrator can moderate uploads. A profile’s birthday-visibility setting controls its profile display; it does not remove historical information already recorded in archival documents or source notes.

Uploaded photographs and member records are separate from the public portfolio and the curated public history exhibition. They are not made public merely because they are stored on this domain.

Cookies and browser preferences

Family sign-in uses a secure session cookie with a maximum lifetime of 14 days. It keeps an authorized visitor signed in and cannot be read by page JavaScript. Signing out ends the current session. Expired session records are removed when a new session is created.

Cloudflare, our hosting security provider, may set a __cf_bm cookie to protect the website against automated abuse. Cloudflare describes it as expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. This security cookie is separate from our aggregate portfolio counters. See Cloudflare’s cookie information.

Language, reading settings and animation preferences are stored locally in your browser. The portfolio entrance also uses session storage to remember that you have entered during that browser session. These settings do not require a visitor account and are not a visitor analytics profile.

You can reset reading settings using the website controls or clear this website’s stored browser data. Clearing cookies signs you out but does not remove your account, photographs or consultation request.

Maps and external services

Historical location cards in the member archive can load OpenStreetMap map frames. When a map loads, your browser contacts OpenStreetMap and its providers. The frames use a no-referrer setting.

Email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Maps and linked project or research websites are external services. Opening those links takes you to the relevant provider, whose privacy practices apply there. Email and messaging services receive what you choose to send through them.

The Reels page shows selected public Instagram posts from @saint_tre. Cover images are served by this website. Instagram’s player loads only when you choose to play a reel here; Instagram then receives the connection and applies its own privacy practices. You can also open the original post on Instagram. The website’s server may cache public reel captions and covers to keep the gallery available.

Website hosting, database and image-storage services process information needed to operate the archive and portfolio. The project’s access controls restrict private member content; this is not a claim of an independent security certification.

Retention, corrections and deletion requests

This version of the project does not automatically purge consultation requests, family accounts, archive records or audit records. A session’s expiry limits sign-in; it does not delete stored account or archive information.

For a copy, correction, access question or deletion request, email trecargitramm@gmail.com. Requests are handled manually by Trecargi. Please identify the request or family profile involved without sending a password or private invitation link.

Consultation requests and accounts do not currently have a self-service deletion tool. You can remove your own uploaded photographs in the archive; contact Trecargi for help with other records or a concern about material in the public exhibition.

Removing a public page or correcting this website does not by itself remove copies held by search engines or other third parties. Requests concerning those services must also be addressed to the relevant provider.
